I am just going to start this paragraph with two words “True Blood.” So season 3 is coming to and end and so many questions surround the season finale. In this season there were several vampires that experienced the “true death,” but what shall come of all the Vampires, Wolves, Dogs, Faeries? In the last episode Sookie was freed from that hole Eric had her in at Fangtasia and her and Bill leave together. Then baby Jessica and Hoyt end up making out and she tells Hoyt that she killed a Trucker. She tells him in order to be honest with him and to try and make him understand what it is that she needs to survive and that is BLOOD. It appears baby Jess expected him to react differently, but he ends up telling her to drink HIS blood. WOW! If that isn’t love I don’t know what is.
Lafayette and his boy toy start trippen on Vamp blood to the point where Lafayette can’t bear it anymore.
Eric finds Russel at a museum where Russel ends up telling Eric that he is basically going to hurt him. Eric then explains to Russel the reason why he killed Talbot. He finally convinces Russel that he has found a way to walk in the sunlight and he pretty much advises Russel the only way for him to share it with him is if Russel allows him to live. Back at Merlotte’s Arlene still desperate to get rid of the baby inside her that her and Rene share she finds the help she think she needs from Holly. Suddenly Sam enters the bar highly upset and more upset than anyone has ever seen him. It’s obvious that Sam is super wasted. Sam then orders his little Brother Tommy to take on the duties of the waitresses and Tommy says that he will not do it. Sam then proceeds to tell Tommy that he is fired and to get out of his place even though Tommy apologizes and pleads with him. Then to top it all off Sam demands that everyone else leave the bar as well. He then proceeds to tell Tara that she should also get out and she basically tells him no. Tara then continues to pour her self a drink at the bar.
Bill and Sookie make their way back to Bon Temps when they are stopped by Eric and Russel and forced back to Fangtasia while they are there Eric tells Bill that he has a plan. While all of this takes place Tara and Sam go back to his trailer where things get hot and heavy….need I say more? As Sam and Tara are having the time of their lives and relieving all of their stress and frustrations Tommy breaks into Sam’s bar in attempt to crack Sam’s safe.
The episode finishes with with Eric and Russel drinking from Sookie’s blood. This happens because Eric led Russel to believe that Sookie’s blood is the key to walking in the sunlight therefore he can’t kill her. After Eric is done sucking Sookie’s blood he goes out in the sunlight where he starts to burn, but Russel can’t tell. Eric then proceeds to ask Russel to join him and when Russel finally joins him Eric handcuff’s Russel and tells him that they will die together.
Now with all of that said and done, lets talk about what we have seen in the previews for the season finale. From what I have seen they are making it appear as if Eric and Russel have died, but the question remains have the 2 really died the ultimate “True Death?”
And what about Sam, what the heck is going on with him? Why does it seem like he has lost his mind? Then we have Jason….what exactly is he up to? He has some major interest in the high school football player and I’m not sure why? I mean now that he knows his girlfriend is a panther what could be weirder than that?
Anyways guys with this season coming to a close there are so many questions that remain unanswered and I am hoping this seasons closing will help relieve the anxiety that us True Blood fans are feeling. It would be a shame for the writers to keep us waiting for answers to the questions we have until season 4. Ugh!
If you are a true blood fan please do not hesitate to share your thoughts with the rest of us. Lets get some comments going. Invite your friends to share comments as well.
Don’t forget the season finale airs September 12th, 2010 on HBO.

You may have heard already that well known actor Michael Douglas has been diagnosed with stage four throat cancer. The news is definitely a shocker, but really makes most of us who are regular hard working Americans realize that even celebrities are only human and nowhere close to being invincible. Based on the many television interviews Douglas has had it appears that he blames his throat cancer on smoking and drinking alcohol. I know some may wonder how he got to stage 4 cancer without even knowing, but he actually did have some symptoms. He stated he suffered with a sore throat for a while and for a long time Doctors could not find anything and a finally one doctor did find something and the biopsy he had confirmed he had stage 4 cancer. Douglas, at the age of 65 will now under go 8 weeks of major Chemotherapy and Radiation treatment. The Doctors have given him and his family a very positive prognosis by giving him a 80% chance of survival. Though he has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer there is an upside to the devastating news and that is…..the cancer remains solely in his throat and has not spread elsewhere.
